New Amex statement credits

What's the best way for contacting Amex about missing credits for bank-issued Amexes?

I'm sending them a secure message for the Amex-issued ones...

I am not sure if this has been covered elsewhere but the cheaper $2.95 fee 'red' Westfield gift cards are accepted by Coles regardless of whether the Coles is in a Westfield centre or not. I did this twice today already at 2 different Coles. Just swipe the card, select savings and enter the pin. The receipt says debit card and doesn't print a remaining balance so you need to track that yourself. I wasn't going to bother with getting the maximum Westfield cards but now I will.

Further good news. Tonight I tried using the Westfield 'red' card in Bunnings and yes it worked. Choose savings and input the pin. I am beginning to think the 'XS' card is a Westfield con-trick and I am glad that I didn't fall for it!

Just added up the credits since November on 7xAmex's (3+4 Supp). $2100 credit over Accor ($700), HN, BWS, Myer, ShopSmall ($610) :)

Just a normal payg person, putting a little (ok a lot!) of effort into maximising savings.

Highlight of all the deals:
Mercure/Accor Perth: Spent $201....
1 nights accommodation, 2 meals/drinks total came to $195 as Accor gave 50% off a-la-carte menus......$200 bill total was a FAIL......
had to get 2 coffees the next morning to get us over the line!
btw the meals were great..can recommend the pork belly

After having success with a 7-Eleven and café last weekend, I have since used red Westfield card at my Fish and Chip shop and a 10 pin bowling centre. None of these located at Westfield. Would be interested to know where others have used theirs and had them accepted outside of a Westfield.

For every $100 spent on Gift Cards at Myer they are giving another $10 Myer card as a bonus until the 11 Dec

updated - it's meant to only be for Myer Gift cards not other types

FYI, doesn't include Coles Group and Myer cards. :)

That's correct. It's supposed to be only MYER gift cards not 'gift cards' in general as jbman has implied.

They tried to get me to buy MYER cards to get the bonus $10. No deal. Coles/Myer cards are so much more flexible to use/give as gifts.

Discussed in detail here:

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/280728

Where you will also see some reports of mistakes being made and $10 being credited for Coles/Myer gift cards.

I didn't know that, I went to buy a coles/myer one today and the lady at the counter said we have an offer on at the moment where you get a $10 myer gift card as well.

I went to two different counters and bought a coles/myer gift card and was given $10 myer bonus cards each time. I am guessing I was lucky that the staff did not fully know about the t&c's of the offer

Went over to Westfield to buy $400 worth of XS Gift Card only to be told that i am not allow to splited to 4 Amex Card , ended up buying 4 x $100 XS Card with $4.95 fee each .
