Checked off my Vintage Cellars offers today... when the amount of the gift cards happened to be $200, the cashier asked "is this for the AMEX offer?" with a smile, before putting them through. Apparently I was the third person today...

Spend $200 get $200 on primary Platinum cards (different to a statement credit as it requires a spend of $200 or more)



Putting the value into a gift card is good for a few reasons - extends the expiry, allows transactions of less than $200, and allows you to do a mixed payment on the David Jones website with the DJ Amex $150 credit in the same transaction. It also skirts around the exclusions of some product lines.

With the early/mid June offer (by email) to receive:

That required activation by 'clicking' on the tab....

Yet despite clicking immediately, and it auto-launching a new window in the browser for Amex that confirmed 'offer' activated - I still cannot find it listed under 'active offers'.

Can anyone see it under their 'active offers'?

I hit the spend target a couple of days ago and the bonus points have posted already. I have also had a couple of shop small transactions since and the bonus points for this offer and the shop small offer are both posting making 5 points per $ spent.

Can you still see either of these on your account page?

I received the $150 DJ Amex offer and saved it; at least I thought I had saved it but now I can't see any mention of it when I log into my account. I'm wondering if it's gone missing in action.

The David Jones Platinum Amex $150 credit shows in the 'available' section - it's not possible (or necessary) to save it like other offers.



The Platinum Charge David Jones $200 credit is still showing as Saved for me (per my screenshot in my previous post)
