Aahh! I spent $700 last night on my QF Biz AMEX paying QF CR surcharges and now have the spend $500 / $75 back with QF this morning….(as well as the hotel and car rental ones).

Odd, none of those appeared on my Gold CC but SYD+1 got them on an equivalent card.

Wyndham, IHG, Four Seasons, Hilton, Marriott all state “in-store only” in Qantas Ultimate.

The IHG seems to be Australia & Japan and the Hilton Asia-Pacific only

I doubt it. You could always book a refundable ticket

usually you just use the card to hold and pay when u arrive if within the redemption period

As long as you book a refundable room, the card doesn't usually get charged until checkout
