It's tough to judge until you're in the seat itself and we see the "soft product". Just by looking at the pictures, I have mixed opinions.
I'm not a fan of only having an 8 inch recline rather than 9-9.5 on QF as well as having 2-4-2 rather than 2-3-2. Yet I am a fan of having the IFE screen at the back of the seat, the fancy shades you'd see in business and first plus the seat pitch looks more than adequate compared to QF's 787 premium economy.

Would have been such a simple addition to make a huge difference.

. So, I don't mind the idea of reduced recline.....
Turkish Airlines had 45 inch pitch in their premium economy - no problems with recline! 38 inch pitch may be 'industry standard'... but Qantas charges roughly double the price of their competitors!

There’s some talk about Oneworld being able to share upgrade requests between carriers. Whether or not QF reaches an agreement with EK for something similar time will tell. Will it be possible to seek an upgrade to premium economy on EK metal using QF points if you book via QF? Wishful thinking?
Has anyone found classic reward availability for sydney flights yet via QFF site?At the moment you can only use qantas points to upgrade on qantas aircraft.
