Hi everyone. I understand you can BPAY into an employee's super account using a business Amex card. My question is that can you do this for your own super if you are a self employed sole trader? I read somewhere that paying into one's own super using Amex is like paying yourself with Amex, which is not allowed. The horrifying post I read (somewhere) said the person ended up losing his/her entire points balance with Amex for violating this rule. Is there substance to this?

Don't do that. I once read a thread here. A huge complication/ drama with Amex when her/him paid her/his own business employees including him/herself super.
