Rental vehicle excess with earth gold?

Hi, i will be traveling to USA on June 30th and during our stay will will require car hire from LA to San franscisco to Las Vegas

Then Miami to Orlando

I noticed this card comes with a value of Rental vehicle excess $5000 does this mean i wont need to take on extra cover when we will be hiring the cars??

Short answer - excess is not generally a concept for USA car rentals and you are unlikely to be covered for vehicle damage.
