From other forums Amex specifically its against T and C to pay yourself
I could do using yakpay or pay.com.au to Sunsuper but have a SMSF and they wont let you use a Amex card for that - can use a MC or VISA - this is for australian issued cards - maybe a US amex card would work for a third party pay service but the fees would start creeping up I imagine

Would it better to buy large denomination gift cards from officeworks and save them for future use or give them to trusted friends or family for reimbursement later ?

Update regarding my ink application : just completed request to complete W9 form online .

Does this mean it will likely be approved ?

Not necessarily but good sign. Normally I would just ask them to verify me over the phone instead of the W9.

If not directly . Should be possible through bpay using the likes of sniip .

How did Chase ask you for the W9 form online? Secure Messaging or online letter/statement function? Normally they send it via snail mail so I wonder if this is an improvement.
