Just something to consider - depending on where you are going to/from, a 'limo' (usually a VHA/B/C plated car in VIC, HC plated car in NSW) may actually be a better and more cost-effective option.

Seems like a good idea for it’s own thread - you should start one - I can’t cause I don’t use Limos

8 years with this company and I've still managed to avoid getting a corporate card... the same people who think i'm crazy for wanting to use my own amex for business purposes are the same people who freak out and go "how can you possibly afford that!?" when i tell them i'm flying business class to europe next holiday

I'll add our regular person here as well: as it's a taxi, cabcharges and corporate reimbursements work for Mrs C's trips to/from airport. Our family has used our guy since 2010; he watches inbound arrivals so knows if we're running late (from both domestic and international). Pick up is in the standard executive / limo pickup area highlighted by CE in original message.

I use a guy in Melbourne called Sam - 0470 261 909. Works the same way that Jimmy does - text the night before, text on landing, text when walking out and will be told my taxi number and go to the pick up area (not as convenient for Virgin arrivals). He uses a network of drivers - all silver service.

Cars are immaculate, water provided and never late for pick ups for the return flight.

Can’t recommend him enough - been using him for quite a few years now. Was from a colleague and I’ve since referred others to him too.

My Uber guy in a Jindabyne is also available via private phone and facebook. He does not turn on the Uber app everytime as he has other jobs - also the town meter reader. But if there is no available Uber, calling him on his mobile and he will come get you or he will organise one of the 6. When he gets to you he turns on the app.

And No, that does not make him rogue.
And I can ring him weeks in advance. There are 6 of them and if he can't do it he will get one of the others.
