It looks more premium. But DIY toasties are still the best value for both the airline and passengers...imho!
 
I guess its take what as to quantity that you want, of the item/s.
But when I first started flying VAd, you or I could take as much as we want from the selection, as in the full oblong food warmers.
As I mentioned, I only flew once after covid died down a bit, in Jul, and it was the barguette half rolls, as in the pics by the others above.
Not sure what is in the offers of food now in the other VAd lounges now, ie, not the ADL one.
What will be considered "normal" for VAd from now on.
Edit: there must be cost cutting, we know VAd can't continue from what was "normal" in the JB days of VA.

Been flying VA a lot recently and haven't had an issue with helping myself to as much food as I want (even if the food distribution is staffed). As long as you're not taking the piss I don't think they'd care
