JohnK if you can set the temperature sensor a bit higher seeing your pain barrier to heat is higher you won't get chased down the street with a huge power bill. Have it come on at say 25 degrees rather than 22 degrees and your new cost will be under control so to speak.

For our house we set the thermostat to 26 in summer, and 17 in winter, and our usage hasn't increased all that much, the actual $$ paid however, is another story....

Doesn't beer get better with age?

I believe it does for a short time, up to about 12 months, but then goes past its use by date in a big way, especially if stored in a hot climate eg BNE.
