The view from my "office"

RooFlyer, what's happening at SYD this afternoon - natural event (storm, high winds, etc) or lots of VA planes gone unserviceable, or a hangover from this morning? Secondly, what are you doing in T2 - since when do you fly with the dark side?

High winds and restricted runway use.

My late QF flight to HBA cancelled, so they jammed me on JQ :shock:. The horror! Did you know that there is no lounge for Qf plat JQ pax? I'm going to write to my MP :evil:.

No priority boarding either. I just called out DYKWIA?! here at the gate and nobody budged!

This - winds up to 106 km/h recorded on Sydney Harbour, so Botany Bay is probably worse.

Even a bit inland it is VERY windy!

I cannot wait to get back on that boat next year.
We have been on that boat and the sister boat Pacific Eden and loved both trips even with problems with our room we are keen as mustard to get back on board.

That's a joke isn't it :?:

We haven't travelled on Aria but of the 8 ships (see below) we have travelled on Eden was by far the worst and we actually had a really nice Suite on it.

It was our first ever cruise and it was in 2010. At the time we thought it was great.

Since then I have heard some not so good stories though.

Friend managed to finally get out mid afternoon - 2 hour delay. Said it was bouncy but landing in BNE was rougher!
