The temperature drops quite markedly after sunset.

Once the sun had set, we were treated to a falconry demonstration. Falconry is very big in the UAE and falcons are highly prized (and pricey, going for AU$100k+ each). Many of these falcons have their own passport and are flown i F or J around the Emirates. Shown below the peregrine falcon turns to attack its "prey" with the rays of the setting sun lighting its wings.
