A busy day today driving in NW Argentina. Left arm frantically steering; right arm working the gearstick like mad in the HiLux.

The pass topped out at about 3500m.

Climbing up out of Salta was followed by a run along a section of Ruta 40 (almost all dirt and curly and narrow in places) into Cafayate - Vino Centrale here.

I’ve covered a lot of Argentina over the years, but this area certainly rates amongst the best.
