Today was a walk around Biogradska Lake near Kolasin Montenegro. Easy walking, not too crowded. Amazing variety as we moved around the lake and some good education posted on reading boards

Wuzhen water town. A few hours drive from Shanghai. Mostly reconstructed I guess and as most things are in China now, very touristy but stunning and interesting none the less. Hotels, restaurants, small lodging houses and stores with much more varied items for sale than the regular tourist junk.

Excellent coffee can be found in NYC now. Culture is my local and there are 3 of them around mid town.. Today is their 10th anniversary and so there was a free cookie and a line ( they don’t have queues here), out the door. But, unlike Aussies who don’t think about how unsensible it is to queue right across a pathway blocking everyone else, NYers know to wait along the window and keep the path clear for the 100K people rushing to work. I had my first and last cookie for this trip. It seemed to be 90% chocolate. Yum.

Novy Jicin eastern Czech, doubt we’ll get to Krakow at this rate! Some people from Poland said to forget Krakow and go to Lublin, much nicer and no crowds. Next time, maybe.

Dinner at Hotel Prague, pianist playing inside whilst we are in the outdoor area. The piano player is good, sort of Keith Jarrett like music, love it!
