The view from my "office"

Still on my ocean going “office” for another two weeks around Japan. Lovely view of part of the shore at Yokohama Port.



This morning we visited the Kawasaki Daishi Buddhist temple. There were no other tourists there at 9:30am, so it was very peaceful.

Following the temple, we visited a “place of scenic beauty”, Sankeien Garden. Indeed it was beautiful, and we spent an hour walking through the garden and around the lake, and up to a view point of Yokohama Port. We also went through the original house with its lovely ironwood floors, but I didn’t take any photos.

So I went and got a small bowl of nuts to have with my Maxs.

. Our block is rounded round a corner. Great pride has been taken in getting the verge all greened up. It was one of the first jobs done when we moved in. You can see the tiny stretch in the first photo.
