Hi all,
After reaching WP on QF, I'm no longer in the hunt for SC's to justify the QF tax. I need to get from SYD-FRA within some particular time windows for work. My cheapest and quickest 1-stop option in J is on SG, but I would need to do the final leg flight on a Scoot 787. This will be a daytime flight and I don't want to sleep. I'm thinking I can rough it out. Other options available all require a few more hours more travel time, either via 2 stops or longer lounge visits. Other workable options include AY (includes legs on Qatar/Cathay), BA and Turkish Airlines (legs on Malaysia Airlines). So the question is, does the compromise in Scoot J make up for the additional 3 to 5 hours duration in trip time? Or should I use AY/BA to max benefits of WP? Cost matrix FYI
