Using QFF points to upgrade disc economy to business (domestic)

I have received an email from Qantas offering me the option to upgrade to business using QFF points. Third flight in three months yet I heve never received this offer. I assume it has been available for full economy fares.

Are others getting this? Is it a new thing with Qantas? Are business class passengers down?

P.S. I am a life member of Qantas Club but have been since 2002 and it hasn't helped until now.

Lately there's been a promotion to upgrade to business from fares that wouldn't normally qualify. I'm not sure if numbers are down, but it's nothing more than a promotion available to all right now.

I didn't get any emails but can 'try' upgrade some if my flights too.
