Good news - Australian tourists can visit Mongolia for up to 30 days without a visa until the end of 2025.

It is quite obviously it is The Mongolian government team must be monitoring my posts on AFF and realised that the visa rules needed to be changed based on my my travel plans My 2023 Mongolian plan has gone by the wayside. I am now working on our 2024 plans, I will get there at some point.

This is kind of cool but also kind of sad. I still have fond memories of getting my Mongolian visa issued in Tokyo, where the embassy was essentially a mansion unit and the only employee of the embassy was the ambassador.
