In my opinion many of the people that frequent Flyertalk love to jump down people's throats. Not good. In a small way that has transferred over to AFF as well recently but not to the scale of Flyertalk.

I should not be afraid of posting a thread and having people jumping down my throat. Even if I was a DYKWIA....

BUT.. in quite a few of those cases the OP has been just as aggressive, just as unreasonable.. but lashes out if anyone else "matches" them.. with an aggrieved and hurt tone as if they were innocent themselves...

Personally THAT annoys me more than the occasional post by someone who is just nasty... YMMV of course!!!

I'll include in the group the OP's who try to put put outrageous "conditions" on anyone who dares try answer their question.... say, someone who is clearly... Ahem.."ethically challenged" and wants advice on how to get away with being like that... but demands NO comments on ethics.... etc

Yup, still here but have gone through a few periods of sporadicity.

Having been around here more than 10 years I've seen a few come and go but would agree with the names I've seen listed.

Funny though I've never even looked at FlyerTalk in all this time.


Some people will come back one day though.
