Wise debit card

Hi,
Has anyone had experience using a Wise debit card internationally ?
Thinking of obtaining one for use in Europe and the UK.

Yes please, I can’t see a way to do it. I did get an opportunity to do it when ordering a new card (after the old card expired).

ah apologies I don't think you can in Australia - it gives you the option to show your pin but not change it

I would have been better off using my Coles Mastercard for the transactions.

And earn points on the transactions.

I can’t remember whether it was by email or a notification in the app (or both), but I was prompted to order a new card. Part of the ordering process was to select a PIN.

I think physical cards no longer free, so got to request them.

The initial card costs $10, but there is no charge to replace an expiring card.

Oh good. I see the same in my app. I no longer have a physical card, as at some point there was a fee to replace it so i didnt bother. I guess they changed their mind.

There is a hack on ordering a physical card, if you order and install digital then cost for physical magically drops to $6.

I dont have banking on my phone, so PAY ID not available, the bsb supplied by wise 774 011 is not recognized by Commbank or Newcastle perm.
I dont want the cash advance fee by using another credit card.
Right now I am NOT happy with Wise.

That's strange. I transfer from NAB using the BSB. Transfer is immediate. Can you log into your wise account and check the bank details are correct?

Check the BSB, it doesn't look right. It should be 774 001.

Check the BSB, it doesn't look right. It should be 774 001.

My Wise card did not work at several different ATM’s in Penang, Malaysia. Have now gone back to my no international fee debit and credit Macquarie cards.

I use my NAB ATM Visa debit card, it's not a cash advance and posts immediately.

Just tried Comm again, both bpay and transfer and here are the error messages I am getting.
